Installation Guide

This is a comprehensive guide to download, install and manage the DQ for Excel™ solution.


Setting up an Account

In order to use DQ for Excel™ you must first register with DQ Global which can be done here.

After registering, DQ Global will provide you with an API key and a unique password via email which will allow you to use the DQ for Excel™ Add-in.


Get Add-in

Desktop

DQ for Excel™ can be found in the Office store which you can access via heading to the Insert tab and selecting 'Get Add-ins'.

From here, you can search for that Add-in with the search function as seen below.

After finding the DQ for Excel™ Add-in, install it. After installing the Add-in, it can be found within 'My Add-ins'. This can be found alongside the 'Get Add-ins' button within the Add-ins section of the Insert ribbon.

Online

DQ for Excel™ can be found in the Office store which you can access via heading to the Insert tab and selecting 'Office Add-ins'.

This will open the Office Add-ins manager. From here, select 'Find more add-ins at the Office Store.'

From here, you can search for that Add-in with the search function as seen below.


Login

After installing the DQ for Excel™ Add-in, you'll be able to find 'DQ for Excel™' along the taskbar. Select it.

You will now be able to see the DQ for Excel™ ribbon, however, you'll notice that a majority of the features are greyed out. It's time to log in! Select the 'Login' button shown below.

After hitting the 'Login' button, you'll notice the Login task pane appear on the right.

Using your unique API key and Password you can go ahead and login to the Add-in! If you haven't yet created an account, you can do so via the 'Create Account' icon next to the Login button.

After logging in, you'll notice the features within the ribbon are no longer greyed out and are ready to be accessed.
